Quartered Roasted Chicken Recipe
INGREDIENTS
- 3 - 5 lbs Whole Chicken
- 1 tsp Hungarian paprika
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Garlic Salt
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 6 to 8 oz Tamarind Heads BBQ Sauce
Prep Time: 40 minutes
Cook Time: 1.5 - 2 hours
Serves: 4
DIRECTIONS
- Mix all dry spice ingredients in a mixing bowl
- Rub entire chicken with the dry rub and let sit for 30 minutes uncovered in refrigerator
- In the meantime, lightly coat a roasting pan with olive oil
- Remove chicken from fridge and place into coated pan
- Brush entire chicken with Tamarind Heads BBQ Sauce of choice
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees and roast for 80 - 120 minutes (~25 minutes per pound)
- Check internal temperature with thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked throughout
