Cheeseburger Sliders with Crispy Tamarind Heads Coleslaw Recipe
INGREDIENTS
Burger Patties- 3 lbs ground beef 80%/20% grind (works well with any protein at this grind)
- 4 oz Tamarind Heads BBQ Sauce
- 1 tsp Hungarian Paprika
- 1 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Garlic Salt
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 3 oz Tamarind Heads BBQ Sauce
- 1 Head of Green Cabbage (medium sized)
- 0.5 Head of Red Cabbage (medium sized)
- 1 Large Carrot
- 5 tbsp Hellman's or Duke's Mayonnaise
- 1 oz White Wine Vinegar
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Prep Time: 1 Hour
Cook Time: 30 Minutes
Serves: 8 - 12
DIRECTIONS
Sliders- Add ground beef, Tamarind Heads BBQ Sauce, and all dry ingredients to mixing bowl and mix together
- Cover the plastic wrap and place in fridge for at least 30 minutes (or overnight)
- When ready to grill, form 3 oz patties
- Cook to desired wellness brushing liberally with additional Tamarind Heads BBQ Sauce
- *Serve on toasted sesame seed/brioche bun brushed with Tamarind Heads Aioli
Coleslaw
- Fully shred green and red cabbage and carrot and place into mixing bowl
- Add Tamarind Heads BBQ Sauce, mayonnaise, white wine vinegar, salt and pepper and mix together until a creamy texture is achieved
- Use coleslaw as a side or place inside sliders
